  10. To play 'Guardians' double click it's icon.
  11.  
  12. Press <space> to play.
  13.  
  14. The control keys are:-
  15.  
  16. Z for Left, X for right, / for down, ' for up, and M for map.
  17.

  20. You must guide the player character around the screen collecting the
  21. shields.
  22.  
  23. When all the shields with a particular pattern have been collected,
  24. similarly patterned gates will disappear.
  25.  
  26. You must also collect all the keys.
  27.  
  28. When all the above are collected head for the exit to complete the screen.
  29.  
  30. Hazards include 'skull and crossbone' characters which drain your energy.
  31. Collecting the three bones that make up a 'S&C' stops this effect.
  32.                                                                   
  33. There are monsters to avoid. They are pretty stupid.
  34.  
  35. Certain doors are opened by pushing your way through them. This drains your
  36. energy.
  37.  
  38. Eat food to replenish your energy.
  39.  
  40. The instructions shown in a scroll-text on the title screen are worth
  41. reading, as they display the various characters referred to above.

  43. This demonstration version contains 1, fairly easy, screen.
